#OOTD: Blue Jeans

Blazer: H&M (similar here). Denim: Henry & Belle. Belt & Bag: J.Crew Outlet. Necklace: Native Gem (bought on a buying trip for work). Shoes: Steven by Steve Madden. Ring: Target. Sunglasses: Dior. Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Yesterday at work, we had a surprise visit from the President of Henry & Belle, Rob Mann. Mann is the grandson of Henry & Belle, the founders of my new found denim love. I was also pleased to meet the Director of Sales and Merchandising, Megan Williams. Both Mann & Williams were warm, genuine and coincidentally, I was wearing this outfit when I met the duo.

Like most women, finding a good pair of jeans is no easy feat, so when I find a pair I like, I buy. If you haven’t tried on a pair of these bad boys, I suggest you do so. They’re flattering, well-made, reasonably priced, and simple. You won’t find any unnecessary flare (pun intended) on the pockets of H&B. One of my biggest pet peeves when it comes to jeans are those gaudy, thick white-stitched, Swarvoski crystal encrested butt pockets, it’s like Snooki & JWoww threw up on a pair of True Religions The Situation’s pants.

  1. Ugh I agree about the butt pockets!! Who likes that?? I’m not gonna lie and say I don’t have any jeans with contrast stiching but I don’t have white and I prefer none. It looks tacky and always makes me think of that tacky, now-disappeared back into the trailer park, country singer Gretchen Wilson. Those are some cute jeans and I like your pink nails w that outfit. :)

  2. absolutely love this look! had no idea that marc jacobs did watches and it has made my day knowing that they have and have gone on and found my own new baby i want haha! so thankyou! x

  3. I love the way that you wear whatever you want and you have no care in the world as to the opinion of others. I wish I could be that way. I am getting to be that way more now that I’m fresh out of high school, “judge you capital.” But you look stunning. Don’t let anyone say different.

    • Megan Marie, you just made my day! This is probably the best comment I have EVER received. Never let others dictate your style. Confidence is your best accessory, so let it shine through. You are the sweetest. xxo.

      • thanks, I do try. (; I’m defiantly learning to be more independent with how I act and dress, now that i’m out of high school. (:
