With fall in full force, it was time to take the plunge on a pair of boots I’ve been eyeing since last fall. The Simon Miller Low Raid Boots have been out sold out, so I knew I had to make my move when I saw they were back this season. As someone who is 5’2 and prefers wearing sneakers around the city, these chunky heeled, platform boots piqued my interest for their versatility (and walkability). In comparison to pointed or square toe boots, the round shape feels a bit more casual and gives enough room to wear a thicker sock. I really like the narrow yet forgiving fit around the ankle because it creates a sleek, clean silhouette when wearing cropped jeans.
