[Video] Slip Dress 3 Ways

The holiday season is in full force which means my party-wear is in heavy rotation. I hate buying an outfit that I’ll only wear once, but luckily something like a simple slip dress is versatile and come at all price points. Watch how I styled the Everlane Party Slip Dress 3 Ways below!

Moya III Review

The Moya III jacket from The Arrivals has been a closet favorite. Whenever I wear it, I get a ton of compliments. — and not only does it radiate cool-girl vibes, it’s ultra functional too.

See my review of the Moya III jacket below!

The Arrivals Moya III Jacket Review

  • Fit: True to its description, this moto is oversized. I’m wearing a XS, which fits appropriately at the shoulders. Due to the heavyweight mix of leather and shearling, smaller frames may feel overwhelmed in this style. To balance out proportions, I wear it with a fitted bottom and a shoe with some height.
  • Functionality: The Moya III can endure extreme weather conditions including temperatures below 30° and (this is a big and) the leather is treated with a water-resistant finish.
  • Quality: No surprises here, this piece is well built. The leather is buttery soft and the shearling is velvety smooth. The color I’m wearing, Terra is as rich in person as it is online. The silver hardware is lightweight, but overall, the jacket feels heavy duty and ready for the elements.
  • Price: In full transparency, I’m an ambassador for The Arrivals, meaning I was gifted this jacket. That said, all opinions are my own and I’d definitely say this jacket is a worthwhile investment. If you’re looking for an alternative to a puffer coat or any other “traditional” style winter outerwear, this trend-forward piece may be worth a try (and although, I say “trend-forward,” don’t worry —  moto jackets aren’t going anywhere anytime soon).

Checkerboard

Love it or hate it, checkerboard print is in. I first fell in love with the graphic pattern when I slipped into the classic black & white slip-on Vans (I was late to the game with those). Now the symmetrical squares are everywhere; from Madewell to ASOS, see my favorite checkerboard pieces below!

Checkerboard Print Favorites:

From left to right:

  1. Watch: For those who just want a splash of print.
  2. Shirt: Just bought this oversized flannel and can’t wait to wear it. P.S. It’s more blush vs. tan IRL.
  3. Crop Sweater: Looking for a not-so-in-your-face way of incorporating the trend? The print in a larger format makes it feel less checker-y.
  4. Wallet: Bring back the ’90s sk8r vibes.
  5. Multi-Colored Sweater: If you already own all the checkerboard, try this one.
  6. Fanny Pack: Definitely on my Christmas list this year.
  7. Backpack: I’ve still got Disney on my mind and couldn’t resist including this one. There’s also these for the real fanatics
  8. Fleece: Almost purchased this one instead of the navy sweater from the photo above — now wishing I got both.
  9. Sneakers: Clearly, I love my slip-ons, but these are nice option too.
