I’ll admit, this print is cray, but there was something about it that I had to have. The photos don’t do it justice — IRL it’s vibrant, graphic, and playful. It’s full of color like rust and black which means you probably already own accessories to wear with it. The hem hit right above my ankle, so if you’re shorter than 5’2″, you may want to have it tailored. It fits TTS (I’m wearing an XS) and it’s on sale for $45.

Usually I’m hesitant to try new moisturizers because of my oily-prone skin. The first thing I noticed about Olay Whips, was the texture — it was rich and velvety, so I immediately thought, “Uh-oh, my makeup is not going to stick to this”. After toning my face, I applied the moisturizer and it immediately absorbed into my skin. My face felt smooth and looked matte — almost as if I had applied a primer! It also left my neck so soft all day long without feeling greasy.

My makeup stayed in place and I didn’t feel overly oily. The Whips also come in a SPF 25 version (fragrance-free, too!) — great if you’re looking for a little more protection for everyday wear. One of my favorite parts about using these moisturizers is how easy it is to get. I can head into Walgreens and I never have to worry about making a trip to the mall or ordering it online.

I own the Madewell Courier Shirt in white, cactus, in a grid print similar to this top, and now striped flannel. The fit is amazing (I wear XS) — oversized, yet short enough to be tucked into jeans. It’s classic style, but the rolled sleeves, give it a more casual vibe. I’m in major trouble because I just realized it also comes in denim, buffalo check, daisy embroidery, and solid flannel. The shirts are so well-made, I’ve had the white one for a few year now. If you’re looking to freshen up your fall wardrobe, the pink stripes (along this version and this version) are currently on sale.
