Kim + Ono Launch Party

Thank you for sponsoring this post, Kim + Ono.

From long cardigans to duster jackets, ankle-length outer layers are my favorite way to complete my everyday jeans and tees. Most recently, kimonos have been my go-to one-and-done outfit maker. So when I had the opportunity to partner with Kim + Ono, I jumped at the chance. The San Francisco based company specializes in silk and charmeuse kimonos each featuring original, hand-sketched prints. I have two Kim + Ono pieces in my wardrobe; the machine-washable robe pictured below and the one I’ll be wearing to the launch party this Thursday, 7/12!

Outfit Details

My happy place became a little more special last week and I just so happened to be wearing the perfect outfit for it. I’ve seen Petite Studio all over my feed, so I was super excited to finally try a piece. The quality is amazing — the fabric was thick, yet breathable and it was slightly stretchy to accommodate for any sitting/squatting. Usually, when I wear petite pieces, they feel overly cropped — I really liked how this jumpsuit hit right at the ankles. If you’re between sizes (or have a narrow ribcage), size down — I’m wearing a XS and it fits comfortably.

Summer Brights

Thank you for sponsoring this post, Rothy’s.

Rarely, I ‘d say pointy-toe flats are comfortable (walkable maybe, actually comfortable, no), so when I slipped into these Rothy’s I was a believer you could have both practicality and style.

They’re lightweight, soft, and the cushioned soles make it feel like you’re walking on pillows. The knit uppers fit like a sock and flex with your feet as you walk.

Currently, there are 3 styles: The Loafer, The Flat, and The Point — I’m wearing the Marigold and Violet as a part of their new summer brights collection.

What made these shoes even more appealing was finding out they’re made of recycled water bottles. To date, 11 million water bottles have been repurposed and made into Rothy’s!

They also come in a few of prints like leopard, stripes, and python if you’re looking to add some variety to your wardrobe.
