I’ve been highly obsessed with belt bags lately not only because they’re practical, but they’re pretty stylish too. I found this $39 one from Nordstrom and have received so many compliments on it. If you’ve been on the fence about adding a fanny pack to your wardrobe, try this one. It can feel a little loose if you wear it at your natural waist (as opposed to your hips), so if you’re crafty, try punching a couple of new holes in the belt.

I rarely shop in-store anymore, but one weekend I strolled into H&M and found these sandals and pants. Usually, I’d shy away from buying these two items online because it’s difficult to tell how the quality/fit will be. I was amazed by the fit of the jeans — they were a bit long, so I trimmed a few inches off  with scissors. Unfortunately, there’s very few sizes left, but this pair from J.Crew look promising. As for the shoes, they were comfy and the perfect heel height made them walkable and flattering on the feet.

My Skincare Routine

Through lots of trial and error, I’ve finally found a skincare routine that I can stand behind. I have sensitive, combination skin (oily T-zone with dry patches all over). Check out what I’ve been using and my thoughts on them below!

  1. Philosophy “Purity Made Simple” One-Step Facial Cleanser (twice daily)
    • Gentle enough for everyday use
    • Easily removes makeup without drying out skin
    • Leaves skin clean and soft
    • I can’t travel without this stuff — it keeps my skin balanced in any environment.
  2. Fresh Rose Floral Toner (twice daily)
    • Calms redness
    • Tones without stripping the skin
    • I spray 2 pumps on a cotton pad and swipe all over
  3. The Ordinary. Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion (PM only)
    • Lightweight, anti-aging treatment
    • Fights against signs of aging
    • I use 3 drops; 1 on my forehead and 1 on each of my cheeks
  4. TATCHA The Water Cream (twice daily)
    • Lightweight, non-greasy moisturizer
    • Reduces the appearance of pores
    • Hydrates without feeling sticky
    • I’ve noticed more even texture and less redness in my skin since using this moisturizer. It’s on the pricier side, but a little goes a long way
  5. The Ordinary. Caffeine Eye Solution 5% (twice daily)
    • Reduces puffiness in eye contour (I use it under my eyes too)
    • One drop is enough for both eyes
    • Absorbs quickly
  6. Olay Active Botanicals Intensive Night Cream (PM only)
    • Moisturizes without feeling heavy
    • Skin feels soft and bright in the morning
    • For the winter months this formula may not be heavy enough. At night, I use this over my daily moisturizer for maximum hydration.
  7. Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Eye Swirl Cream (twice daily)
    • Smooths and reduces the appearance of fine lines around the eyes
    • Non-greasy, fast-absorbing
    • Wears nicely under makeup
