What I’m Wearing: kensie Ruffle Popover Dress via Macy’s

One thing I love about spring; dress season. From bridal to baby showers the celebrations are never ending. I’m not one to shy away from color, but there’s something about a classic neutral that makes me feel most confident. This ruffle trimmed frock by kensie is the perfect example of an LBD I’d reach for any spring event. The breezy fabric transitions nicely from day to night and the silhouette is super forgiving.  I decided to go with straw accessories to give it a more casual feel. I’m wearing a size 2 and it hits right below the knee (I’m 5’2″). If you’re on the hunt for a new dress, Macy’s is currently having a pop-up sale, plus you’ll get free shipping on orders over $49.

A couple of weekends ago, Tyler and I took trip to wine country. We visited Ashes & Diamonds Winery, where the mid-century modern design and friendly staff made our experience a memorable one… oh yeah and the wine wasn’t bad either. Coincidently, my outfit matched the property, that or I’ve been really loving pops of yellow lately (just peep the Insta!) For those interested in these pants from Reformation, I’m wearing a size 4. The length is nice, though I might get them taken up so they feel slightly more cropped. They’re the perfect pants for spring/summer, but like any linen piece, they wrinkle easily.

I generally think of corduroy as a fall/winter fabric, but this lightweight number from Zadig & Voltaire changed my mind. It’s blush-colored, exclusive to Bloomingdale’s and has just the right amount of stretch. I layered it over head-to-toe white and felt ready for spring even though it’s been a bit gloomy in San Francisco lately. This tee is also by Zadig & Voltaire and reads “Girls Can Do Anything” — a statement I can get 100% behind. It’s super soft and perfectly oversized (I’m wearing a small).
