We’re back on the mainland and my travel vlog is up! Okay, so the video isn’t from last week’s trip to Hawaii, it’s from our winter visit to Lake Tahoe.
See how Tyler and I spent a snowy couple of days in South Lake Tahoe!

Day 1:
- We walked along Lakeside Beach located near Stateline. There are great views of the snow-topped mountains and it’s an easy place to catch the sunset.
- A few blocks from the beach is The Coachman Hotel — one of our favorite places to visit in South Lake Tahoe. We especially enjoy the happy hour which takes place from 3pm to 6pm.
- Since it was so cold, we wanted to catch the epic Tahoe sunset from somewhere warm and toasty. We headed to 19 Kitchen & Bar in Harvey’s Casino for a sky high view of the sherbet-colored clouds.
Day 2:
- Although (I thought) I carefully planned my outfits, I forgot snow clothes! We headed to Shoreline of Tahoe for a pair of snow coveralls.
- Then we drove to Spooner Lake where the crowds were minimal and the snow was plentiful.
- After a long day in the snow, we stopped by Brooks Bar & Deck for a bite to eat and to check out the amazing Edgewood Hotel.
Day 3:
- It was time to head back home, so our final meal was spent at Bear Beach Cafe where I gobbled down chicken & waffles and Tyler had the french toast sandwich.
