These pointed-toe flats are the perfect mix of classic and modern. I’ve broken them in over the past week and they’re wearing in nicely. At first, the slingback felt too tight, but they’ve loosened up a bit. If you have super wide feet these may be too narrow for you. They run true to size — I’m wearing a 7.5. I’m contemplating on which color I should get next; they come in mustard, natural, and rosewood.

When Tyler and I take a trip to wine country, we usually default to Sonoma. Since we haven’t spent much time in Calistoga, we took advantage of the spring weather and decided to make a weekend out of it. We left the city at 3pm and arrived at the  Calistoga Motor Lodge & Spa around 5pm — plenty of sunlight to spare. We ate on the patio at Sam’s Social Club for dinner and stayed long enough to experience the fire pits in full force. After our soak at Moonacre Spa & Baths the next morning, we were ready for an afternoon of wine tasting.

Sleeping-in on the weekend is the best, but there’s something to be said about getting an early start on a bright spring day. Last weekend, I rolled out of bed, showered, got ready, and slipped into the softest pants from Lou & Grey (seriously they feel like butter). I ordered them in a size small because I wanted them to feel a little baggier for maximum comfort. The sweater is an extra small and it fit just right. I guess waking up early isn’t so bad — especially when I get to wear loungewear that feels as good as this.
