I don’t know if it’s because I’m getting older, but dressing for comfort has become more of a priority. These slim wide-leg jeans are really soft and the relaxed silhouette makes them feel like loungewear. Top it off with a pj-style shirt and a cozy, warm robe coat for an easy, weekend look. Sneakers are non-negotiable in my book especially if I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking. My favorites include the pair in this post, my Vans Slip-Ons, and most recently these Nike Blazer Sneakers.

This donut shop was a staple growing up. Most prominently in my high school and college years. They opened at 11pm (yes, pm), so when were craving freshly made donuts at  house parties sleepovers, we’d scrounge up a few quarters for freshly made donut holes. I get so nostalgic when I’m visiting back home and small businesses like this are still thriving. 

Last weekend, we visited our families for Mother’s Day and I finally got my dose of warm weather. Since I was waiting for the perfect temps before wearing this matching top and skirt set, it’s sold out, but I’ve linked to a few similar styles below:

I’ve been suffering from seasonal depression, style wise. While the rest of the country is warming up, San Francisco remains cold and dreary—which is confusing the heck out of my closet. So I’m trying my best to partake in spring trends… or at least my version of them! Denim on denim (or D.O.D.) is a bit brighter and more “colorful” than my usual neutrals. This M.i.h. Jeans shirt was an instant must-have because of the clean wash and tie sleeves—plus it’s on mega sale! These cropped Madewell jeans are also on sale (I’m wearing a 25) and for added warmth I threw on these suede boots. Hopefully we’ll get some sun soon, but until then, I’ll be dreaming of a sunny vacay while I’m snuggled up in a teddy coat.
