The days in Bali got hot and the evenings got cool — not San Francisco temps, but breezy enough to want lightweight layers. As usual I overpacked, but failed to bring clothes that suit the weather as the sun went down (plus, longer clothing that would deter the mosquitos). While we were out souvenir shopping, I picked up these pants from a local department stores. I chose white because I knew I’d have a top in my luggage that would match. Surprisingly, I don’t already own trousers like this and I know I’ll be wearing them throughout the rest of summer.
