Thanks to Everlane, I got a sneak peek of the much-anticipated Form Bag. When I read it was big enough to carry a 13″ laptop, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Tyler and I own a 13″ for travel and 15″ for editing at home. The 13″ MacBook slides in horizontally with plenty of room to spare for your everyday essentials — perfect for travel and daily commutes. The 15″ laptop fits vertically, though it’ll prevent the bag from closing, however there’s still room for a wallet, charger(s), makeup pouch, etc.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and feel of the adjustable straps; no obtrusive buckles that dig into your shoulders and the flexible material (dare I say it…) formed to my body.

The Form Bag is an unexpected alternative to a classic tote and will likely become my everyday work bag. I foresee this being an Everlane staple and before I know it, new colors will be introduced each season.

The days in Bali got hot and the evenings got cool — not San Francisco temps, but breezy enough to want lightweight layers. As usual I overpacked, but failed to bring clothes that suit the weather as the sun went down (plus, longer clothing that would deter the mosquitos). While we were out souvenir shopping, I picked up these pants from a local department stores. I chose white because I knew I’d have a top in my luggage that would match. Surprisingly, I don’t already own trousers like this and I know I’ll be wearing them throughout the rest of summer. Earlier this week, Tyler and I arrived in Bali. With it being my first international trip, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Fortunately, the jet lag hasn’t kicked in (yet) and the heat/humidity was to be expected. This gold two-piece set fit the bill for our stroll around Double Six Beach — it’s lightweight, breezy, and the fabric doesn’t stick to my sweaty skin. A twofer combo is a vacation-packing dream because you can mix & match the pieces for multiple outfits. I plan to wear these pants again with this moisture-wicking tank from UNIQLO. It comes in a million colors and is currently on sale for $15.
