I’m pretty particular when it comes to boots. Since I’m on the shorter side, I like a 2″-3″ block heel for added height and maximum walkability. Styles that are narrow throughout the ankle and with zips located on the back of the heel look great with straight leg jeans and midi dresses. When I came across these faux leather boots from Nordstrom, I was skeptical, but the 4.5 star ratings (and $100 price tag) won me over. I was debating between the white/black combo and snake skin. Thinking I’d get more use out of the latter, I ordered my usual size, 7.5. If you have narrow feet, I’d definitely go a 1/2 size up. They aren’t particularly comfy, but they’re decent with a thick sock. The soles are pretty durable, but the jury’s still out on the longevity of the snake skin. Overall, I really like the fit and sleek shape of the boots—especially for the price!
